National Memorial Arboretum 11th March
Dedication of the Basra Wall which has been transported from Iraq and rebuilt at the Arboretum .This is a ticket only event but the Arboretum is open to the public as normal
Mercians Homecoming Parade 06th March 2010
100's of soldiers of the 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment will be marching through Long Eaton and Ilkeston,These soldiers have fought side by side with the Afghan National Army during some of the fiercest fighting ever seen in Helmand Province,come along and give your support.Parade starts at 10.30am from Westgate Car Park in Long Eaton and in the afternoon around 1.30pm the regiment will have formed up to start the second parade from White Lion Square Ilkeston.

Spalding Flower Festival & Parade 01st 2nd 3rd May
Annual Parade of decorated floats which make their way through the streets of Spalding ,Lincolnshire- static displays will be on view in the Springfields Festival Gardens Camelgate,Spalding- fotocaapricorn are pleased to have supplied the photographs for the 2009 and 2010 official brochure

Ride To The Wall National Memorial Arboretum Saturday 02/10/2010
The third Ride To The Wall will take place on the above date,all motor cyclists wishing to take part need to register at http://www.rttw.org An entry fee applies but remember this is a charity ride to raise funds for the National Memorial Arboretum,a great day out is once again anticipated with hopefully record entrants for this event,if you are attending as a Chapter and would like group photographs taking please e mail or give me a call,we supply a free DVD of all images taken to The Ride To The Wall organisers and also to the Arboretum.
